One of Canada’s major political party leaders Maxime Bernier was arrested and imprisoned this past week for violating lockdown mandates, the specifics of which involved his attendance and speech at an anti-lockdown protest in the Canadian province of Manitoba.

Not only are major politicians being arrested, but Christian pastors are being arrested for holding religious services as well. Canada’s crackdown on the Christian Church has been widespread and harsh.

A Canadian pastor released a video explaining how he had received a summons for holding outdoor church services.

It appears this pastor is not the first, as multiple news stories of church shutdowns and pastor arrest have made headlines this past year.

Police went so far as to place physical barriers around the church.
